Teotihuacán, Mexico

We are so excited to be traveling to the Americas for our 7th Annual Gathering! Our venue is 45 minutes outside of Mexico City. We will be firewalking within walking distance of one the most architecturally significant Mesoamerican pyramids built in the pre-Columbian Americas, namely the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon. Although close to Mexico City, Teotihuacan was not a Mexica (i.e. Aztec) city, and it predates the Mexica Empire by many centuries. At its zenith, perhaps in the first half of the first millennium (1 CE to 500 CE), Teotihuacan was the largest city in the Americas, with a population estimated at 125,000 or more, making it at least the sixth-largest city in the world during its epoch.

Our hosts are HeatherAsh Amara and Sarina Harz whom many of you met in Sweden last year.  We will be eating and firewalking at The Dreaming House, a beautiful family retreat run by our dear friends Alberto and Veronica in the small village of San Sebastian. Double-occupancy lodging will be at the Dreaming House or one of the other nearby retreat centers run by their family: Villas Las Campanas and Sueno de Quetzalcoatl (both are about a five minute walk from the Dreaming House.)

If you have attended a Gathering you know how joyful, expansive, and educational they are. If you are new to the Gathering you will be welcomed with open arms and hearts. Each Gathering has both new and very seasoned Firewalking Instructors with so much wisdom and expertise around firewalking  you will be astonished and inspired. They let loose and enjoy themselves totally when they don´t have the responsibility for their delegates experience and safety.

The venue for the 7th Gathering is Teotihuacán, a ten minute walk from most important pyramid complex in the Americas
